Cultural Awareness

Hello Readers,
Welcome back !

I am back with one of major concern topic in todays era which says " It attracts people creates community, creates an experience and a destination creates an Emotional connection builds Reputation also bring People back" I am talking about Cultural Awareness, many of you might have understood, so in this particular article I would be telling you all the need to understand our infact others cultural and also to respect them and there importance in our life's.

Cultural Awareness is basically our understanding of differnces between ourselves and people from different countries or other background especially difference in value & Attitudes.  As learning cultural is essential for everyone of us, it infulence our views,values,humour,hope, loyalty,worries & fear, whenever we are working with people and building relationships with them it helps us to have some perspective of understanding there culture.


I would like to share my own story with all of you on same pretex as few years back my own experience of leaving my own place for exploring new places to spend my summer holidays for a week it opened up a whole new world. As I Found myself immersed in a different culture and Practices , as it was not so that I was stucked to my culture only but adapting there culture was also the thing which I inculcated in myself because everyone needs to change according to place and the culture & practises followed,as and when I started interacting with them I started understanding there culture and I followed them like my own culture as said if u Respect others and there culture so the same you will get back, I faced few difficulty In starting as I was new to all but time taught Everything as one needs to pe patience and understanding,so what I learnt was learning others cultural and spreading awareness about the same adds a lot of to our knowledge and changes our way of thinking & adapting others cultures.



Benifts of learning Culture Awareness are -
  • Diverse cultural perspective can inspire creativity and bring innovation.
  • Helps in making business more complex & profitable.
  • Helps organisations to retain the best talented employees.
  • Diverse teams are more productive and perform better.

Coping with Failure

Yes readers I am taking about how to cope up with your failure ,and never regret for what has not be done inspite of it keep trying and it's prominent you will achieve success at an correct time , so here I am to tell you about how to cope up and benefits realted to it...

There's an misconceptions that failure means you have lost everything in life , it's a thing which makes us more stronger and keen to achieve something , just like an beggar's untill and unless they dont get something to eat they keep on searching they never stops inspite of so many people are misbehaving with them they simply ignore and continue with there work as they are determined about it and they fight untill and unless they have something to eat, so in the same way we have to cope up with Failure and keep trying as said "Failure is a key to Success"

Often a times it happens things go well and up to the mark but it's not the case for all days as it's not necessary every step you take may lead to success it can also result into failure ,so what's needed is how to smartly handle such situation instead of loosing hope and giving up easily as it does no good to us it only drag us in negitvity and causes stress & overthinking which is literally injuries to our health.

Now I would be giving you all some basic tips to cope up with your failure -
  • First,just accept the way you feel that means express out your emotions ,share it out as it will help you stress down.
  • Remember, it's not an failure it's an key to sucesss as  Practice makes an man perfect.
  • Be practical and learn from the situation as every failure has few mistskes where we lacked behind so try and find out those mistakes and kindly learn from them. 
  • Realize nothing in worldwide will be easy as every thing needs more hardwork ,ssincerity and attention so to turn every impossible task to possible oness
  • Dont let it become a part of your identity as it's just an one time failure and if we stick to it and allow it to impact on ourselves so its not something acceptable.

As conversation is key to any success , so in my article I would be talking about importance of a good communicator and tips to improve our conversation skills. 

It all sounds so easy & relaxing when we daily have conversion with family,friends, co-workers,realtives and the one whom we are so close to, but knowing the right way of it and taking care of our words while we speak them out is far important than just having a conversation.  As we all are quite aware once the things we have spoken it cannot be reverted back inspite of all atrmpsat ,so it's equally importantly said "Think twice before you speak" 

While there is no more to having conversation skills than being a good leader, story teler,actor or in occupation, it's not to become a perfect but still you can listen attentively is one thing , ask appropriate questions ,pay attention to answers this are all basic qualities to learn the art of conversation.

As the image below portraits the best kind of conversion having face to face conversation which includes our body language , way of communicating, our involvement , sincerity everything! 


Ways to improve your your  Conversion Skills -
  • Talk slowly - Usually good communicators do not rush into conversation,they take there time and when required they say it a loud which makes them centered & noticable in a crowd which is an quality all of us should have.
  • Hold more eye contact - Mostly people lack behind in having a proper eye contact while an conversation they fear it out ,but as we start looking straight forward into each others eyes we see something which they are even not speaking it out , it also conveys confidence & interest.
  • Notice every details - An person with good communication skills notice every single & small details and bring such details into the conversations. Thoose People infulence others in a very elegant manner.
  • Give unique compliments - Anybody can give complements to get another person's appreciation ,which shows our leadership skills and it can help people find out or know some unique qualities of themselves which they are aren't aware off.
  • Maintain an balance of give & take -  A conversation  may get boring if one person is doing all the talking and others are just listening so there should be a proper balance and all of them should equally participate morever each one can help others in spesking and keeping there points.

Work Life Balance

Is it really helpful to achieve work life balance nowadays? Or it is just a myth?

I decided to write my article on this particular topic as I have seen how people use to work 12 hour days. I had a conversion with one of my relative on this topic, and he said, yes but what can we do? So I thought why not to find out a proper way out, his reply hi me up and I started thinking about it.

For busy professionals work life balance is important for happiness, success, and productivity at work. Maintaining a right balance between career and lifestyle will not only help in better accomplishment of work , but do help in our personal lives as well.

"Work life balance in something how to maintain a balance between your personal & professional life"

I will explain you all more clearly by an example i.e. In today's world women are working for full time in office and when they return back there are responsibilities of home on their head. I did one survey at recent and I found that majority of women are working 40-45 hours per week and 53% of them responded they are struggling to achieve work life balance.

 

Women's said that their lives were effected and it includes multiple responsibilities at work , having meetings , business trips, and at top is managing responsibilities at home and work, so they replied that successfully achieving work life balance will ultimately create a workforce that overcome our both personal & professional lives.

Now I would like to share one story which I listened from one of my respondents during my survey session -

Her name was Ms. Reeta Singh , she was from  Jalandhar ,Punjab, had an family of four also a very demanding job and she struggled a lot for maintaining a balance between all she was losing her professional life because of more attached to personal life, she talked about it as she was more keen in personal life her office work was pending and somewhere she was lagging behind and then she said when she started focusing on her work her family, children felt Un-noticed and which created an overall mess for her, but she did not lose hope and at last which helped her in finding out an alternative which was she used to plan her schedule at night before, she used to break tasks into hours as giving herself deadlines motivates her to finish work faster, she had also maintained free evenings for her household work , also by waking up at time and going early to bed and her this decision helped her a lot and now she is easily able to maintain a balance between work& life.

So my recommendations to you all is its no one else but we ourselves who have to manage our both professional & personal life in order to be successful and earn name & fame in society.

Hello Readers , am back with an very important topic which we all need to learn in order to earn name & fame also to be successful. 

In toady's world IQ just consists of 20% where as EQ consists of 80% because yes knowledge matters but more than that is the attitude we possess,if we dont respect others , so we would also get that and no body will except because of just that behavior, so we need to handle our life in order to get success, happiness ,relationship and social life.

 The capacity to be aware of, control, and express one's emotions, and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically, also its very much important along with our intelligence quotient we need to equally manage our Emotional quotient too as just scoring good marks ,being a topper of school or college , full knowledge of IQ , there are many educated people who are nothing today because somewhere where they lack behind is the way of talking ,the way they communicate and express there emotions is not appropriate, So it basically teaches how to react in what situations and most important  is the manner of behavior we possess. 

Emotions Intelligence have five components that are -

  • Self-awareness.
  • Self-regulation.
  • Motivation.
  • Empathy.
  • Social skills.

Now I will like to explain you all with an example suppose there are two friends John & Veer and both were preparing for an exam and they want to join one coaching which was to popular as john went to talk with the owner of choching so he said as the vacancy are full, I cannot give you admission so John started showing attitude and said he will close his choching and showed so much of arrogance and left on the same side seeing all the situations Veer went inside and asked for admission & said sir ,you might feel bad how people talk to you and misbehave with you , so he said yes , dear but there are also few like you who talk so politely and with respect, but I dont have vacancy so Veer said no problem so you can take my phone number and call me whenever there is vacancy,so one day one of the student of that coaching left due to his personal reasons , so the teacher called Veer but not to John , friends as the there situations were same but only veer was preferred because of his behavior and emotions he showed.

At last I would like to say “Emotional Intelligence is the key to improving your personal effectiveness. It’s the foundation for dealing with impulses, dealing with stress, and responding versus reacting in a Convey kind of way”

Hope so you all may have got my point what am I going to talk about..yes it's "Public Speaking"


Public speaking it's generally a way or an art how we communicate or influence our audience by the sake of our words and action.

It's one of the major problems faced by youths now a days , everyone's of us speaks but using the right sentence and right words matters as the the words which are uttered once can never be taken back that's why it's said think twice before you speak and be short and concise too.!

I would like to recommend few points to my reader's which would help you all become an effective and influence speaker - 

"My tips will help my readers raise there confidence and reduce anxiety for you all"

  • First step is to know your Audience and make eye contact .
  • Secondly keep Rehearsaing & Practising.
  • Thirdly Practice with Interruptions as it increases your concentration level.
  • Practise in front of the mirror.
  • Also do grab every Opportunity to speak.
  • Do Practice body language and movement.
  • Take a note while speaking  Slow down.
  • Essential is Making Contact.
  • Do Know your Material.
  • Also Take long pauses & Practice tone.
  • Use Humor & Emotions.
  • Be Mentally prepare &  Build confidence.
  • At last do Ask for Feedback.
